Protect your card against fraudulent use online. Online Secure uses a One Time PIN (OTP) that is sent to you when performing online transactions and comes at no extra cost. Activate and maintain Online Secure on your card on the FNB App. Online Secure was discontinued on Online Banking in September 2020.

1. Select your Credit Card Account from your list of accounts
2. Go to 'Account Options'
3. Select 'My Cards'
4. Select the card you want to activate
5. Select the 'Update Online Secure' icon
6. Fill out the details to update

• Once activated, proceed to the checkout.
• Type in your 16-digit card number when prompted.
• You will then be prompted for a One Time PIN (OTP), which you receive via SMS.
• Finalise your purchase.
